01 / Start with your regular destinations
List work, study and the other places you visit often. Check the connections needed from each candidate area. If sharing a home, consider everyone’s routes and agree on what travel time feels workable.
02 / Walk the last part of the route
Map distance does not always describe the actual walk. Try the route from the station to the building, noting crossings, pavement, lighting and entrances. Consider whether it works when carrying a bag or groceries at your usual travel time.
03 / Explore your everyday essentials
Look for food options, groceries, laundry and places where you would spend your free time. If possible, visit at more than one time of day: the same street can feel different in the evening.
04 / Compare the whole daily routine
Compare rent, journey time, transport changes and nearby essentials in a simple table. Favor the routine that fits your priorities. If unsure, share this information with a Personal Agent to help narrow the search.
Try the whole journey, not just the station name
Use the metro filter and check the route from the building to the station entrance. Vietnam’s metro is still limited, so also allow for motorbike/taxi commutes. Compare District 1 or Thao Dien with Phu My Hung using the same workplace destination, and record real rush-hour travel times.
One small step at a time.
